Dotcomjungle: The Grudging Host!
Dotcomjungle could be considered the world's first grudging host! We started hosting our client's web site because the multitude of providers that we were dealing with across the US are running their businesses like wild cowboys in a barroom brawl, shooting from the hip and updating server software with no provocation. What's worse is they do it without notifying any client on their server and without admitting in afterthought that they had in fact done anything at all. The result is that seemingly random web site problems can be found to be caused by these 'helpful updates'. With clients that are selling thousands of dollars a day on their web site, you can imagine how costly a cowboy upgrade could be!
Lets be honest. The world of web site hosting is replete with low cost options that appear to have value and even quality. Our experience in the real world has been otherwise. In fact, this multitude of low quality, low cost access to web hosting has been a boon to Dotcomjungle's client base, as many clients have come to us after many frustrating years on other servers.
The DCJ Hosting Policy
Keep It Simple
- Our retail servers are meticulously maintained for PCI compliance so that all you have to do is fill out your own PCI questionnaire to have your url certified.
- We have a 'No Worries' protocol for your server settings. Everyone gets a unique IP address. Your site size, bandwidth, number of emails and all of the other fine stats that other hosts tout are inconsequential to us - we'll do whatever it takes to make you successful. We would love for you to get large enough that you "became a problem" - that is a nice problem to have. We would then work with you to move you onto your own dedicated server.
- Our servers are fast, RAID 1 fault tolerant and a host of other fancy things.
- Since we don't like lists of useless features, we won't list them all here like other hosts. We host our client web sites so that we can guarantee to the best of our ability their stability and profitability. We do not host for hosting's sake.
- Yep!
