Ten Thoughts for Monday
- Remember that reputation absolutely supersedes everything.
- When operating as a team, our business’s success is based on everyone taking responsibility for the outcomes we all desire.
- Thought leadership requires unselfish integrity – generosity of one’s time, intelligence and knowledge.
- In business (and in life) maintaining one’s spirit of generosity is crucial.
- Don’t base your marketing on the notion that it’s “easier to ask forgiveness than permission.” If you lose clients by being a spammer, you’ll never get the opportunity to ask forgiveness.
- Having integrity shouldn’t be a good business strategy. It should be commonplace.
- Work with people you believe in.
- Work for people you believe in.
- Sometimes in order to figure out what you want to do, who you want to be, how you want to spend your time/energy/resources — you must get clear about what you don’t want to be and will not do in order to gain.
- Consistency is different than ‘everything will stay the same’ when you have the attitude that everything will be alright.
